Biography

Born in the small suburb of Oak Park. Maris Lidaka was exposed to film, literature, and photography at a young age by his father. While attending high school in Copenhagen, Maris often went to the movie theater in order to remind him of home. In his senior year he decided to embark on a career in filmmaking, and returned to Chicago to attend Columbia College to study Film Directing.

Maris has worked as a Producer, Cameraman, and Editor over the past 10 years in order to become a complete filmmaker. He has worked on several TV shows, feature films, and documentaries.
